Far South Future is excited to be involved with Dover’s first Fun Run! Save the date now – Sunday 15th December.

Venture south and explore large-scale public art in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. Project X presents a series of major artworks in the Huon, with the aim of bringing visitors back to the south in the wake of the bushfires that recently ravaged the island. Project X is: A DarkLab project, supported by the Australian government and the Tasmanian government through Tourism Tasmania, and Mona. ‘Hrafn: Conversations with Odin’ at Hastings Caves State Reserve!
Take a journey into the deep, dark wilds of the far south and follow your guide into the trees, where you’ll listen to 2000 ravens coming in to roost—an avian exchange of sound not usually witnessed by humans.

Port Esperance Sailing Club is one of the oldest sailing clubs in Tasmania. We have a venerable history of hosting regattas, from the 1800’s to the present day – regattas that have hosted sailing and boating races in Southern Tasmania, combined, in many years, with community picnics and activities on the beautiful foreshore of Port Esperance in Dover. Seafest is an annual event held on the beautiful Dover Foreshore. Seafest showcases the region’s best local produce, with a focus on its seafood. You will also find stalls offering locally produced beer, cider, wine, tea, coffee, cakes, jams, art and handicrafts. Bring the whole family for a relaxing day of food and drink, live music, dance, demonsrations, displays and children’s activities.
