Hidden away in the southern-most corner of Australia is a vibrant, active and growing community made up of people from all walks of life. Our community events bring local residents together, as well as showcasing all the Far South has to offer those from further afield. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, we welcome you to join us for our regular, annual or one-off events.

Community Picnic

Held on Sunday, 7 October 2018, 1 pm to 4 pm

Salmon and Sunshine. A beautiful day was had by many. The jumping castle was a hive of activity, some wonderful creations by our young sand castle builders and the food was enjoyed all around. A huge thank you to Tassal, Huon Aquaculture and Port Esperance Sailing Club for supporting this event. And thank you Dover for turning up in big numbers to appreciate our beautiful bay.
